Well I have done alright so far because, the first one I check, I've only gone and picked up another near-£4 receipt!

    Vs T
I like it when, for once, they buy this at £2.98 rather than the other way around:
    1x Comfort Blue Fabric Conditioner 42 Wash (1.5LT) £2.98 £2.00

However, with that on the shop, it made T just 51p cheaper:(:

Comparison total (compared products only) £34.86 £34.35:(
    +£0.51 cheaper

Most items - merely just a 'not 10% cheaper than...' situation. Largely because many items around same price and didn't make too many bad purchases. Except that :(they always like to pick up an expensive £1 choccie biscuits pack:

    1x McVitie's Digestives Milk Chocolate (300G) £1.00 £1.50

500g version in M was on offer for £1 recently (obviously expired some time ago already - went to 2 for £3:rotfl: after that finished).

More evidence of an impulse purchase, doubtless encouraged by seeing a sign of £1 red price label sticking out from the shelf and 'r'back', than anything else. Actually I was in M earlier (getting a price of an item checked at the till:p) and the customer in front said 'no, you're not having chewing gum' to her child that went to pick a pack from the display at the till and then, to my slight amusement, added 'I've already got Easter eggs and a cake that I didn't want!'. So, people buy them even when they know they don't really want them!:rotfl:

Personally, on the chocolate biscuits, I'm sure that A SP are virtually identical. Even with the McVities though, at £1 opted into £1.35 on the APG, it still gives £4!:rotfl:

Not 10% cheaper than anywhere - and vs M comp. was second best.

    Vs M
Do M really not have loose tomatoes?
0.68x ASDA Loose Vine Tomato (order by number of tomatoes or select kg) (PER KG) £1.34 N/A

Perhaps not vine - who can tell?

    Or loose mushrooms?
0.1x ASDA Loose Mushrooms (PER KG) £0.27 N/A

The (brown) onions are magnified up to quite bad vs M when more than 8 or 9p is bought:

0.56x ASDA Grower's Selection Loose Onion (order by number of onions or select kg) (PER KG) £0.39 £0.52:eek:
    T 39p, S & W 44p.

2x ASDA Chosen By You Shortcake Biscuits (200G) £1.20 £0.70

Maybe they missed an A mbuy:think: by buying a superfluous pack of McVities instead:p and got the M mbuy instead:T. Sadly, I don't benefit from it - have to settle for vs T at 40p each. Also, it involves small 200g packs of biscuits rather than 400g packs for my liking. But, never mind, it gives an APG.

Fab photos PD. Glad you got home safely.

 MKS good to see you back.

I'm supposed to be flying home to Heathrow but very tempted to see if I can divert to an airport a bit further up the country so I can pop in to northerngeezer for my dinner (tea), it sounds lush :D

    Next... vs T best again.

    1x Robinson's Fruit Shoot Apple & Blackcurrant Juice Drink (8X200) £2.98 £1.44:j

:(A still end up cheaper than T though!

    1x Oreo Original (154G) £0.50 £1.08
    1x Go Ahead Crispy Slices Blueberry (5X43.6) £1.00 N/A
    1x Go Ahead Crispy Slices Apple & Sultana (5X43.6) £1.00 £1.69

Note how I only go for sub-£1 comp. on the Go Ahead!s!

    1x ASDA Jam Doughnuts (5PK) £0.65 £1.00
No use - stick to whoopsied ones and keep them away from an APG comp.!

Whoopsied in T would be a good item though;):D:cool:.

50p Pot Noodles threatening to ruin matters.
    2x Pot Noodle Chicken & Mushroom (90G) £1.00 £1.00
    2x Pot Noodle Original Curry (90G) £1.00 £1.00
Fortunately they contribute 5p each to the comp. against T.

    Vs M
2x Disney Star Wars Surprise Egg (EACH) £2.00 £1.54

Not on the list - why would you? No need to buy two!
50p Pot Noodles lost out there.

It's look like they have 2 for £2 mix and match in the system for M on the Go Ahead! Slices there. M comp. due to change soon though so it's possible this data will change even though msm showing no change in pricing for M (I can't guarantee the price collectors will correctly pick up the mix and match on the same two again this time). The fact I have to look at msm should speak for itself there!:D It means M pricing way too high for me - I therefore have not paid any attention to Go Ahead! slices in M as the pricing is just 'no good, immediate rule out' and then I move straight on without taking it in or remembering it! I can't be faffing around with them instore:rotfl:. I think they came off straight 84p each before they went up to that pricing!;):rotfl::rotfl:

I walk straight past items that are (at least IMO) no good. You would expect no less of me!

(The only time I really know about the prices of items that are 'no good' is, sometimes, when they have just gone up to that price and when I'm therefore crossing them off my list! After that, I can't be bothered - until they go onto good offer again.)

Well that was a fat lot of use!:rotfl: Looks like I have a receipt that's been half-printed and the bottom half, including where the TC would be, is completely blank:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:.

    Never mind - next!

What a shame - the Chocolate Orange is now £1 in M and the Haribo is 50p (:wall:since specific seasonal bags have been much cheaper in M - and still may be available to some of you in M - try Warrington store to see if they still have some left - the 10g bigger packs (160g rather than 150g), nearer the back of the shelf, did not have any price showing when I checked - these 'no SEL' items that are often clues as to what items might be very good price!:D - or try Lichfield if you want to try the own brand 23p bags that might still be there! They may be elsewhere - I do not know. Obviously if you are already in those areas:rotfl:).

    1x Chocolate Orange Milk (175G) £1.00 £2.00
    1x Haribo Super Mix Bag (160G) £0.79 £0.77

Wouldn't have made any difference on the shop they did though. They also bought some Tracker bars and :(picked a time when M have gone up to £2 (they were £1 before).

Just confirmation that this is £1.75 across the board:
1x ASDA Shades So Soft White Toilet Tissue (4 ROLL) £1.75 £1.75

:(They've managed to lose out on this:

    Vs M
    2x Quorn 2 Peppered Steaks (196G) £5.00 £3.00
2 for £3:eek: in M. Not on the list as they go down to £1 in A.

    1x Robinsons Orange & Pineapple Squash (1LT) £1.00 £1.54:p
    1x Birds Eye 30 Omega 3 Fish Fingers (840G) £3.00 £4.94:p
1x Fridge Raiders Southern Fried Chicken Bites (60G) £0.50 £1.28:p
    1x Fridge Raiders Roast Chicken Bites (60G) £0.50 £1.28:p
    1x Frubes Minions Fromage Frais Strawberry (9X40G) £1.00 £2.00:p
2x ASDA Chosen By You Fig Rolls (200G) £1.00 £0.70:) (:(, as on a shop packed with useless items vs M!)
    1x Clover Spread Light (500G) £1.00 £2.00:p

I have a sore tongue!:rotfl::rotfl::eek: Metaphorically of course. APG voucher of 67p vs Waitrose:p.

In fact, I've just noticed a whole load of letter "K"s at the end of every barcode, except the waffles that are on A mbuy. They mustn't have scanned anything but must have entered the barcode for every item on their shop:eek:!

I think the only reason the Colman's were 98p is because they missed the A mbuy and bought only one.

Last two now, and then I'll go and try and cross out the expired items on the M list (or maybe remove them completely if they were 'buy in M') and then leave the list for me to add new offers on later today!

I'm still seeing people paying well expensive prices on items and either getting '10% cheaper' or it is cheaper but merely not by 10%! There are items that could be switched to that are way cheaper elsewhere.

Some nice high prices paid on one receipt, but they didn't buy enough items:(.

And final one, a pound or so cheaper in T:T. Someone buying Heinz soups at full price 95p each (T 50p!). Also some cat food that is cheaper on T's individual price than the A mbuy which they bought (and which is a show).

But they also got some N/A items vs T:
    1x ASDA Fishmonger's Selection 2 Crisp Crumb Cod Fillets (284G) £2.00 N/A

Should have been vs M of course!:p
    1x ASDA Fishmonger's Selection 2 Crisp Crumb Cod Fillets (284G) £2.00 £2.00

I'll see what I can do, to show the expired items on the M list, so that you "can't go wrong", and then I'm going!!

    See you later:wave:.

I've now crossed out/deleted the expiring items from the M list. It's amazing that I can remember what's expired in M - lots of things were still on and lots were off and I thought I'd never remember which was which - but, I suppose, when it comes to the list and you see the names of the items, you (or rather I:D) remember them when you see them. So, no help needed from my written info. for that part of things!

I will be going through my information later on today though, to add items that are new. I may need to pop out this morning and then be back later here to do that.

I ought to mention a change on the Savers 'fresh' ready meals - that were comparable from A SP Cottage Pie (300g) and the like. It appears that M is moving from 300g versions at 70p to 400g at 93p. I still have 300g in some Ms at the moment, but one now has 400g.

:(So that, in future, if M goes completely to 400g, they will be non-comparable and then only have comp. vs Sains at 80p available. This does not help as A is more than 10% cheaper - so, in effect, would have to pay straight A price of 70p:eek:.

Just to be aware that the 300g SP meals may 'fail'/start to fail vs M (may return N/A). In fact, M's version at 400g works out at 69.75p per 300g - maybe a plan to get you to switch to that:rotfl::(.

I am leaving the 300g SP meals (such as I have them) on the list at the moment, but they will be removed if M moves to 400g (different pack size, outside of weight range). (I say 'such as I have them' as there was one version from memory, maybe more, that was never as low as 70p, so was never on the Avs M list and I think it's not stocked by A anyway so wouldn't be there for that reason. But just so you don't assume that versions I may not have listed will be safe! I am very exact. If I have not listed something, it means that it isn't 70p in M! If you are following the list, you have to follow it exactly!)

That's it for now - there are lots of new offer items to add to the list! I'm back during the daytime.

You will have to wait for the update to reach the system first, but Fray Bentos tinned pies are moving to Princes, there are a couple of LM veg. meals to add that have just gone on offer, the two Uppercrust Lattices are back at £1 in M (that's buy in M, not sold by either A or T), there's some Carte d'Or RTC to be checked but probably won't be good (Gelatina Choc. Fudge Brownie 900ml) £2 - NB: TBG says it does not compare against RTCs - the Sheen Leather Wipes are now £1.50, some Flash Gels (400ml) are back at £1 (one was 96p low some while ago), the UB 500gs are apparently back at £1 less than a week after me removing them for going up to £2, the Muscle Lavender Toilet Power may soon be TBG vs M at £1 again, two Muller Greek Corner yoghurts multipacks join the Bliss Corners that remain at £1, the Dairylea Dunkers have to be checked (to see if A favourable pricing otherwise forget), the Oat So Simples are presumably £2.44 and 2 for £4 in A therefore full details for the ones in M at £1 are now to go onto the list if that is later found to be the case and there are a couple of SP-equivalent items that M now produces that have become available but I do not think they will compare for some while yet (not least because they have yet to have SELs in the one store out of three in which I saw them - it's possible to see one of them as non-comparable anyway. All to be checked later, when I come to add onto the list). There is also a Twix Ice Cream Bar 4 pack:wall: on £1 RTC in M - may it be comparable on Avs M - I have no idea until I come to look at whether A stocks that product - and, anyway, why would you as the 6 pack Mars and Snicker ice cream bars are each £1 in M?

I reckon the Apricots (320g) are now N/A in M. I could not find any trace whatsoever of them - not even any remaining SEL - in any of the three M stores I checked - so I think they are going to N/A unless anyone knows differently and can tell me they are still in their M?

Anyway, enough for now! Bye now:wave:.
