When i was in Singapore and Hong Kong the percent of people had masks

on as they were walking about because of the smell of petrol fumes etc

but if you went to the old markets they didnt wear masks and were still selling animals alive such as

chicken ducks frogs fish rabbits and another little furry thing not quite

sure what that was could have been a tash :)

When I was in Singapore loads of ladies were wearing masks, they do it when the 'smog' drifts in usually from Indonesian forest burning, as well as to prevent infection

When we were away at the start of the year on a ship - Denmark and Germany - some of the Japanese (possibly Chinese) used to walk around with masks on - most biazzare

    Not bizarre at all really....

Face masks are a VERY common site in Asia, particularly Japan, China. They are principally worn to prevent the spread of germs and viruses.

Their cultures dictate it very impolite not to wear one if you have a common cold/flu, just as sneezing openly is also considered to be in bad taste.

I am having a very odd Sunday
Firstly I slept in until gone 9 which is unheard of - extra 2 hours, must have been shattered.

Just trying now to clear up and get dressed, at this rate it will be Sunday afternoon before I get some clothes on.

Tried unsuccessfully to load my milk receipt as a test for Shopotize and needless to say its just hanging at 100% and not going to processed.
Also tried to do a few photos so I've got some to add to ebay listings but the light is so bad. I like to do photos outside so the colours are true, multi coloured things are fine but one plain moss green skirt just won't take good pictures - it will end up in Oxfam at this rate
OH then has a go at taking photos with the iPad - I use the ebay app and load photos straight from my camera roll. OH then decides they might be better if he uses his posh camera so he then has to take these photos and load them via the main computer and then email them to the iPad for me to save - so a quick 5 min job becomes a full on production taking half an hour

    Right time to get dressed
