So shall we start an 11pm -2am list? you have to be an insomniac and an alcoholic to join it and more importantly....that has to be offensive.

On the discussion of clearing things out, I got a new fridge freezer today.:) Well not really new ,as I got it at the local auction rooms, very :money::money:
My old fridge was an ordinary free standing one, but I was really struggling to bend down to get things out of it and clean it. Another sign of old age creeping up!:(:(
This is one with a freezer at the bottom and the fridge on top. So much easier.:)
Anyhow, to get back to the point I was wanting to make.
I was basically horrified at how much rubbish I was storing in the old fridge.
Jars of pickles, relishes, jams, etc etc, all with just small amounts left in them, which have probably been there for months, but just got being pushed to the back out of the way.
So I have been ruthless and binned the lot!!!:DN1LDA:D0 -

I bought several shops with the Finish dw tablets and the (relatively expensive:D:() 10p sweets last week. I realised, about two days later, that I'd bought nothing that we actually needed:rotfl:. So, I had to go and do some essential items shopping. Of course, the DW tablets will be needed in due course and then I will be very thankful that I got them at an excellent price (I do have a dishwasher but wasn't 'out' of them just yet). That's the 'trouble' with this money-saving lark - sometimes you end up buying nothing:rotfl:!
The surplus of 10p sweets in my stock suggests we have had quite a good run on glitches over recent months - I default to these when I am in a hurry or want to make sure I don't mess up with any risky items. Apart from essentials such as bread and milk and fruit abd veg, we could probably last a few weeks on what is in the cupboards and freezer
Talking of essentials, I haven't seen it mentioned but 500g Clover Original has appeared on CoS and CS 21-26/1 - 50p cashback, claim 3 times on each app. £1 in A and also in T (so 40p after cashback and APG AvT),

We just don't like throwing stuff away  we really don't. I think for many of us it may come from a way back memory of not having much or that might be psychological rubbish. I didn't have a deprived upbringing but 'things' were rationed and I was made to feel grateful for them....if I ever got them. I could get all psychological but I won't
I think what a lot of people of our mindset do is about control. probably because they have another situation in their life that they can't control. # shoulda been a psychologist#

I bought about 40 packets of 10p sweets!:eek: They will all get used though - I notice we are now down to single figures already:(:rotfl. I've put them out on the table (normally I put things into date order, but not these) and they've already helped themselves to lots of them!

You are quite right about not liking to throw things away.
I didn't have a deprived childhood, but by no means was my family well off and we did appreciate everything we had, which is why I am still very fond of tripe, ox heart, cow heel and trotters!:):)N1LDA:D0 -

What is it to anyone what time we are online? Last time I looked we are both old enough to be up late :rotfl::rotfl: well you are anyway
Bloody cheek!
Of to have a quick look for morning time glitches,:DN1LDA:D0 -
Well not a lot to report on the glitch front.:(
Hopefully there may be some changes overnight, but usually I can tell by now.
Good news is that it looks like cheese and turkey mince will be glitching again today.:TN1LDA:D0
