There used to be a scheme where you left paperback books in odd, random places, for people to pick up and take home. With all the bags full that I have taken to charity shops, I often wondered whether to do this but I didn't want to risk getting fined for litter.

I do however, leave MOCs I can't use, I put them on the relevant item in the shop.
