I was trouted in Ts :mad::mad::mad:

I found a reduced damaged bag of Whiskas dry food & wanted to weigh it on Fruit & veg scales to see if it was still 2 kgs in weight.

I have asked to do this before with damaged items & SAs have said help yourself.
So I lined the scales bowl with plastic veg bags & put the bag on scales.
Instant Trout :eek::eek: An SA I have never seen before
You can't use them they are for staff only...
I try & explain but she isn't listening.
She tells me the bag states 2kgs that is what it is.
No I say it's a damaged bag ..
I lined the bowl too..
But she over rides me & tells me I will break the scales putting such a heavy item on it :huh::huh:
So I take my cat biscuits off & say to her "Well that's me reprimanded" :(:(
& walk away - with her spluttering in the background.

Surely potatoes, bananas etc could easily weigh 2kg?

In the next aisle was a SA who I know... & I asked them if customers weren't allowed to use the scales.
No problem at all & they would speak with the Trout :p:p
