Oh surprise, the price collectors are better than what I thought! They have got both the Mandarin Pieces and the Apple Pies vs M!
Vs M
1x Asda Smartprice Mandarin Pieces in Light Syrup (312G) £0.35 £0.59:eek:
1x ASDA Smartprice Apple Pies (6PK) £0.50 £0.50
Perhaps the M items are now coming into more Ms.
This was a bit of a test shop - don't worry I've not lost out as the Mandarin Pieces are against T, which I targeted.
They haven't got the SP White Bread against M though:rotfl::
1x ASDA Smartprice Sliced White Loaf (800G) £0.40 N/A
Should be 40p for M on weight adjustment in my view (they were comparing it some weeks ago). Probably an issue with Ms not displaying any price for that after M increased it from 33p to 36p some weeks ago.
Note the Bread is showing "---" for T on msm, which seems to think that T only has Eday Thick White Bread, but the description matches up on t.com with the A product and they do compare vs T on the APG:
Vs T or S
1x ASDA Smartprice Sliced White Loaf (800G) £0.40 £0.40
Which is now needed:( to get back to 36p straight A price that they were before! (T and S have always been 40p throughout this period.)
So, in summary, SP Mandarin Pieces against T or S at 35p, SP Apple Pies against T or M at 50p and SP White Bread against T or S 40p. (SP White Bread needs to be BC...4193. There is another version, which I gather is stocked in A supermarkets, which does not appear on the APG.)
Obviously, with the Mandarin Pieces seeing a price increase from several years ago, I haven't bought any Mandarin Pieces for ages - but a purchase much more rarely is therefore alright!;)0 -

Savvybuyer wrote: »Sounds like they are the same as Morries - the number of items that those huge stores don't stock! You'd think they'd stock everything - or at least a much wider range - but they don't.
So, hi folks, I am around and I popped in earlier to see if there were any items glitching beyond what we've already had.:)
Lost out again on the best comp. vs Morries (fortunately this was a womble) as the beggars don't compare either the Savoy Cabbage - 50p in M - or the White Cabbage - should be same price as A. M does have Wafer Thin Honey Roast Ham at £1.87 - however it is outside the weight range (M 400g) so the N/A seems correct. However, I can't exclude the possibility that some M somewhere might have a bigger pack size!:rotfl: As far as I am aware:D, M doesn't have a product within weight range.
Given that the HE 200ml was showing £2.29 vs £1 T on msm, I thought the Flash at £1.50:mad: was a very bad item - a lot of £1.50 Flash wipes in A, and also the downsized 1.3L liquids, on msm show T at £3:eek::(. I thought they were bound to cut the voucher to pence:( vs T, however I notice fortunately they have managed to buy a product that is N/A for T. Didn't matter though as Morries was the best comp.
4 items on your receipt qualify for comparison Asda morrisons
1x ASDA Grower's Selection Savoy Cabbage (EACH) £0.68 N/A
1x Herbal Essences Dazzling Shine Shampoo (200ML) £2.29 £1.00
1x ASDA Cheese Topped White Rolls (6PK) £0.82 N/A
1.02x ASDA Grower's Selection White Cabbage (PER KG) £0.59 N/A
1x Colgate Twister Fresh Toothbrush (EACH) £2.00 £2.00
1x ASDA Wafer Thin Honey Roast Ham (480G) £2.00 N/A
1x ASDA White Baguette (400G) £0.75 £0.75
1x ASDA Essentials Massage Sponges (2PK) £1.00 N/A
1x Collection Extreme Coloured Lengthening Mascara 2 Blue (9ML) £2.98 £2.99
2x Flash Anti-Bacterial Lemon Floor Cleaning Wipes (10PK) £3.00 N/A
Comparison total (compared products only) £8.02 £6.74
+£1.28 cheaper
With them seemingly unable to pick up several 'fresh' veg. items, I think the collection agency now used might be the same one as the one T used to use - or, maybe, still uses. They seemed notorious to me for not picking up a lot of fresh veg. in M. Does anyone know if the 400g Plums, which I notice are 50p:D in A, are returning N/A for M (M is bound to be much more expensive!)? I am sure the wombles that Sal has provide the answer!
I do not know why the Savoy Cabbage is N/A. I did find however that one Welsh M store had a price of £1:eek: showing for some Savoy Cabbage, and a different description, however that should not affect anything - they shouldn't be using the Welsh collection as the shop was in England. I have found Savoy Cabbage in other Ms in Wales at 50p. I cannot imagine them not having Savoy Cabbage, or some SEL, in their M stores.
I know the 400g plums have been N/A before - and, when I visited Wrexham, which I believed may at one stage have been a price collection store, I did find an issue with that as the 400g Plums there were different to the ones that should be compared to - and which all of my Ms stocked. However, I think this agency is useless as regards fresh veg.:D - which may be a good thing as the plums are currently a lot cheaper in A!:rotfl:
NB: They didn't buy 400g plums on the shop above - don't let Savvy confuse you;) - I'm just wondering whether the item is returning N/A vs Morries and therefore could be a good filler.:)
Obviously, I didn't know straight off that the 200ml HE was also £1 vs M as that kind of price for such a small bottle is too high for me, unless of course there is some glitched pricing. That is a nice difference on a womble - and, not in N. Ireland, they have two chances - one vs T and one vs M - as long as they don't lose it on other items in their shop!:rotfl:

:eek::eek:
I knew you'd have the answer!:T
Just let me settle from the sharp intake of breath there:rotfl:. Not the answer I wanted to see:(, but never mind - price collectors, better than what I thought!:eek:_pale_ Except on Savoy Cabbage:(, White Cabbage:(, SP White Loaf:(, probably 1Kg carrots are still N/A vs M (they were, for me, properly N/A for about a week - went from 1Kg to 2Kg and then back again in M, but I can't exclude perhaps remote chance that some M still had 1Kg during the period when all those I'd seen had only 2Kg:huh: for about one or two weeks). M has 1Kg carrots at 60p at present (similar or same price as to elsewhere). Whole Cucumber? 1Kg Carrots? Still N/A?
They do like to throw one in to trip you up/cause amusement:rotfl:. The Plums - not good vs M! Are they good vs anywhere? In other words, N/A:rotfl:.
EDIT: Sorry for all the questions:rotfl::rotfl:.0 -
