you should have had a nice quite day to yourself after everyone had trotted off to school etc - a quick walk well wrapped up on the beach, a tidy up in the garden, a conversation with the hens and then a lounge on the sofa watching something no one else likes

OH has had to go back to work tonight even though he is not on call but the office is closer to us - it was a favour so the chap who actually is on call does not have to go a 30 mile round trip to sort an incident out

so I've got the house to myself and if he is not back before Eastenders I will be making chees eon toast myself - its what I fancy

In the meantime please can I ask how many people got the Bluemonday email from Marks on Sunday morning?
I expect mostly you got the £3 offer but did anyone get the offer whereby your coffee and cake were free?
I also expect nobody got a mysterious knock on the door to be given free flowers from Marks either :rotfl:

I contacted their tweeter team yesterday who were clueless - they said the emails were going out gradually throughout Sunday and they even said they were going out this morning - I wonder if they even believe that themselves ...

I did manage to get to Marks today but the sale was very poor

also on Shopotize a new offer appeared on Sunday morning for a free pack of dark chocolate pick up bars worth £1.60 for purchases only in Sainsburys .

I had a few jobs to do in Sainsburys so I popped in and needless to say my huge store did not stock them
They had a black and white version on offer but the barcode did not scan so obviously not the right one.I was going to go to the smaller sainsburys today but for a pack of biscuits I could not be bothered to walk in that direction.

so either the biscuits are a brand new line and not in the shops yet or are being trailed only in certain areas of the country. This has happened before and it is most vexing for anyone not living in the right areas - I think it was the Emmi coffee drink that no everyone could get.

also looking at the offer on Shopotize it looks like it could be one of those limited offers they tried to have before which just annoyed everyone

so I messaged Shopotize for classification - was it limited and if so how many, was it a new product or only sold in certain areas etc ... but no reply yet.
I also messaged bahlsen who make the biscuits to ask about stockists but I've had no reply from them either.

Then someone said instead of a free pack their app just said 80p back - ie half price pack. I then checked OHs app and its not on his app at all - so not everyone is getting the same offer
