Anon - Agree about the people barging for the whoopsies, but you have to understand the people posting whoopsies where they have 10+ items here are 90% likely to be those people who will grab everything and will barge you with their trolley... just saying.\\

Been in two towns and the same story, really impolite, rude and greedy. Clearly some on here are the same people... they just dont see what they do in the same way.

Clearly this is aimed at me as I'm the only one who has posted whoopsies today. :o
Maybe you didn't fully read my post. I said that I walk away if there's a lot of people. I have no need to fight over food. Today there was me and another man. We shared what was there and it was very civilised.

Judging people without knowing the circumstances is a bit premature I think.

If my posts upset you neas I suggest you put me on ignore.

Well I am someone who has on occasions posted my whoopsie pics on here and I can tell you if you had met me you would see no way could I barge anyone. :rotfl:

I am really lucky that there is a group of us that spend time chatting to each other while we wait for reductions to be brought out and we all share with each other if someone happens to be stood in the right place at the right time we pass things back to each other but there is a couple of people who do not and will not share and I agree it's not nice to see. I mean what does one person do with 20 punnets of strawberrys.

Well I wouldn't start at 1p else they will wonder what's the matter with the item.

Only list when it's free to do so. List it for the full 10 days and try to time it so listings end on a weekend evening, they say Sunday is best.

Start with a price you won't regret if it does sell. I always start with the price I want to achieve for it, and only lower it on the 3rd time of listing.

Give it a good description with plenty of detail. Take good photos, from different angles etc. You can have 12 photos free as a rule.

Don't add Buy It Now unless you want to pay 50p for doing so.

Make sure you know the difference between a small parcel and a medium parcel otherwise you can lose out on postage.

If it's old and it's ugly, it's probably worth more than you think.

Get free bubble wrap from supermarket fruit boxes. (T's don't mind if you help yourself)

I've only sold what I normally would have sent to the charity shop - I decided to try selling it first and have done £100 plus already.

    Hth. x

Thanks for taking the trouble to answer. I'm clearly going wrong as I price everything starting at 1p:rotfl: plus I've made some big mistakes over postage costs.
Didn't realise you could have so many photos too. I clearly have a lot to learn:rotfl:
