Well done - timing is everything and I still haven't worked out when is the best time for any of our stores.

I only check ours in passing - I cannot be bothered with the scrum as there are sometimes hoards of people jostling around the staff. I feel sorry for the staff.

In both A and T there seem to be people with very large trolleys who block the staff and grab pretty much every item. What they are doing with it all I do not know - meat I can sort of understand but 20 bags of salad etc - you wonder if some people get it on behalf of their families, are running a restaurant and get it for that, or just have no control and then waste it as it will go off before they could eat it. Hopefully one or two. Given some of the stashes and volumes I sometimes buy (all used!) I am not in a position to judge :A.

My poor ole nan rang me earlier in a right old panic telling me that she couldn't find her dog, well Nans dog really is her best friend and I dread the day anything happens to him, anyway I told her I was on my way up and not to worry.
I rush up there looking in the garden as I go in but can't see him so I go in to the house and she says I'm glad you're here and I look at her the dog is sat next to her  I said nan what's the matter and again she said I can't find my little dog so I said nan he's right next to you , ohh she says with a sigh of relief and then says well where's the other one gone now , by this point I'm as confused as nan and picked up her dog and put him on her lap and said here he is but she was still asking for the other one ( she hasn't had two dogs for over 14 years ) anyway when she realised she only had the one and started laughing :rotfl: God love her :D

Thanks. I just love it when my phone goes 'ching ching.' :T

I use the iPad and as you say the noise is very traumatic :D

Ideally I like to use PayPal for things I get on groupon and living social etc - turning the unwanted and unneeded into nice meals and nice days out so I've got a lot of incentive to get selling

I'm more careful than I used to be and used to buy 3 or 4 bags of salad that would go off before I could use them and after last weeks cake, there's now an embargo on sweet stuff. I ate half of it and took the rest into work. Not good when you are trying to lose weight after Christmas:o
