Autocare Tax Disc Holder 48p
Available in some M somewhere.
Probably for ornamental purposes to put onto the mantlepiece in own home:rotfl:. Given that, as far as I understand, "tax discs" are no longer issued and do not have to be displayed, I would have thought there was no longer any need for this product. Perhaps some countries abroad still require something to be displayed somewhere, I don't know. But if our tax authorities don't issue anything... Is there any requirement for this product? There for anyone that wants to buy it and spend/waste money:rotfl:.
It's from "Autocare". Of course, people always need to "care" for their vehicles, and it's suggested that, without a holder for that (unneeded) disc, you'd be failing to care for your vehicle. I think some emotional tug there and very clever name, to help sell a product, IMO:rotfl:. Personally I don't now envisage any need for this specific item. You can tell me if it needs to go onto the M list.
I think I read somewhere that some people are using these holders as a place to put contact details of the driver's next of kin/significant others in case of accident and emergency.

The Prochef 24cm Steel Colanders (or at least some of them) have now gone down in price in M to £1:T. I'm now aware of three different versions - I bet my knowledge is incomplete again:rotfl:. I had two:o (out of the three I now have:p) on the list earlier at £2, which I thought was a good price:o:o and even at £1.50 earlier:eek:. I picked up the Cream version for the first time last night:rotfl::rotfl:. (Previously I've been N/A on the thing:o:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:.) I now have at least the Red, and this Cream one, at £1. I don't now know if the Green Colander is £1, although I suspect it might be, as Green isn't available in any of the further stores I've now checked:rotfl:. I may come across Green again later - probably together with Blue, Black, Sky Blue Pink, Orange and anything else M happens to stock that it puts into different stores:rotfl::rotfl:. (That last bit is a joke - I don't know of colanders in those colours - obviously
:o if they later turn out to exist - at the moment, I am aware of Red, Green and... er, Cream:D:o;):rotfl::rotfl::cool:.)
But...will they fall even further in price maybe to 50p? Obviously we've no idea - and the risk is that, although they're RTC, they could shoot back up in price later on rather than going down more. Sometimes, if it is a really good price (as £1 now seems to be, for now), M will have it at that price for a few days then, it seems, put the item back up in price all too soon! That seems to have happened with the Pepsi 30 cans packs (although not RTC) - people did get them at £5.87 earlier, which it turns out was a slight overpayment, as they went to £5 on Tuesday (maybe Monday if my stores then weren't displaying it). However, on Friday, they were £7:(:p. So, if you didn't grab them in the three (maybe four) days that M had them at £5, you have now missed it. Put up in price, it seems, just in time for the weekend shoppers:(:(. I say "it seems" as I only have price displays to go by - and can never rule out the possibility that they are incorrect. Also, the cans packs (and not all of them) were only in one out of three of the stores checked last night. Anyway, we would not want them now:p:rotfl::(.0 -

No they don't love me either and I am just under the 3000 mark - I need to go and write something sad and miserable on their FB page.
John Lewis don't love me either enough to give me cake and coffee so I have to carry on eating the tasteless mr Kipling Christmas cake and mince pies even though they are out if date now
When you got over the magical 3000 sparls target did your offers magically improve or did you notice any difference at all?
My biggest annoyance is the clothes shwop which is supposed to give you extra sparks points. Firstly not every assistant knows how to put the points onto your receipt so a supervisor needs to be called. also it's very hard to even find the right till with a bin next to it - my small store has one but I could not find it at all in Liverpool“Create all the happiness you are able to create; remove all the misery you are able to remove. Every day will allow you, --will invite you to add something to the pleasure of others, --or to diminish something of their pains.”0
