    Evening paw sniffers:D

Thanks for the turkey mince ideas. The time I get to a shop the glitch will be finished:o

So very busy at work....but at least I've had time to read back tonight:D

Sorry little one has been clingy Logie....I remember those days well:o it does sort itself out I promise:) my DD went through a phase of vomiting on nursery floor as I took her in on a morning. We weren't the most popular family:rotfl:

Sorry too TS that DD1 didn't get her house. It wasn't meant to be. We just want things to be right for them don't we?:o

Sounds like stinky has been doing a fine job behind the scenes....haven't got a clue what it's about but feel that 3 cheers are in order:rotfl:

Now I need to research the Boots sale....are we planning a post midnight rendezvous:rotfl: and those mystery wine cases look ever more appealing.

My only shopping news today is

    1. A womble that gave me £1.56 but just a good comparison.

    2. Popped into Lidl and got the cucumber, tomatoes and pepper at 29p each. Saw some gingerbread Christmas biscuits reduced to 39p and other Christmas items half price. Picked up the leaflet for offers weekend 16/17 Jan and bless my soul. It's only those bloomin sun dried tomatoes half price at 49p, jars of olives at 32p and jars of marinated feta for 79p. That's my private party food sorted.

    3. There was a 3 but I can't remember what it was:o

Maybe it was that you are having memory problems :D

Didnt realize you were so close ! I was in Swad today, the market was dire.
Did you read about that tragic toddler up Shobnall Road, found wandering to nursery, because she couldnt wake mummy?

No I didn't - sad story, unfortunately I don't have time to read every newspaper in the country:(.

You can tell I'm nowhere local as I didn't refer to it as "Swad":rotfl:. So, I've been and I've gone! It was your M that was one of the ones I picked at random:D. Don't know where I'll be going next (my own stores I think tomorrow) but, after that, maybe yet more:eek:(:rotfl:) on Friday or, maybe, next Monday - but nowhere near you soon:(. I think you are lucky there with the RTCs if no-one else has snaffled them all. Another one - Butterkist Discoveries Hickory BBQ Pulled Pork Popcorn (80g) 19p yesterday on the RTC in "Swad".:D A bit expensive for popcorn though:rotfl:, as I found a much bigger one in M somewhere else - more expensive cost as in 50p but works out much cheaper by weight - that will be going onto the list as soon as I reach the item on my notes.

Remember, I could turn up anywhere! But not in Swad. again soon as obviously I've already now been there.:) Actually, you should sort out the road signage around there. Very unclear compared to the rest of the places on my journey - I took a wrong turn, went the wrong way out of the town completely (delayed slightly more by temp. lights too:() and hadn't a clue where I was going:rotfl:.

TS, in a few months time once the sale has gone through, you will be able to see the price that was paid on the nethouseprices website.

Thanks for that info HG :)

How are you today LS ? Hope things are better for you :)

    Thank you for asking. :A
I haven't left the house, and my friend I was supposed to be visiting came to me instead, so that was nice and cheered me up. Not had any incidents like yesterday, and I'm taking the thing out tomorrow in the hope I can get back to using the channel as normal, so fingers crossed.

Yes that is the first thing we did as well, transferred a large sum across as soon as we heard but it seems we still missed out on something vital
(no I don't know if BFs family also did a money transfer but she said they also sent no card - they were staying with them for most of Christmas)

as you say we have to do the exact same for all 3 of ours when the time comes so I have to try and do everything correct this time ...

And did they send you a thank you card thanking you for your kindness in transferring a large um of money to them? I hope so if your DD is moaning about not receiving an engagement card. Personally I think its rude to expect anything, I'm sure you have told her how happy you both are for her, and you have given them a large sum of money, plus are helping with planning things. Is an engagement card really that important? I think not.

In the nicest possible way mhoc, I hope your daughter isn't going to turn into a bridezilla (although if she does I'm sure the stories you could tell on here would be hilarious!). I think sometimes couples can get a little carried away in their own bubble and can end up a little rude and forgetting their manners.

That sounded like a bit of a rant, I hope you don't take it like that mhoc, I just don't like seeing people taken for granted. :o
