The thing is that, if I lived just a bit farther north, south, east or west of what I do, and had been checking a different set of generally 3 M stores, and one of those had been the store that has the Crunchie Funsize, that item would have remained on my list for months. I'd have been saying M still stock it and would have had more of the lollies, or different ones, as they are also in that store, and wouldn't have been saying the only one I could now find was the Rowntree Mini Randoms. Depending on which stores I was checking, I may still not have had the M Cherries Sweets bag - and surely yet more different M sweets bags still at 23p must be somewhere even though I haven't found them again yet? - and I'd have been saying M no longer has the Cherries sweets. But, if I was in the Sweets store, I'd still have had the sweets for months but the Crunchie Funsize would have probably been removed! (Both would be have been kept on the list if only I had checked both stores in the ones I normally check.) In fact, M still stocks, somewhere, all this range.
There are undoubtedly items that have remained on my list for several months even though there is no evidence of them elsewhere - and, if the APG/TBG only checks those stores, they won't have them. They are probably available in stores other than ones I've checked but not in all stores. Then there are items that, as we've now seen, have been absent from my M list for months even though M continues to have them (somewhere). I removed the Savers HB Pencils months ago a short time after all six of the stores I more regularly rotate between went completely out of stock and have no SELs or any indication of them still being available at all. I have now found them in at least seven stores:rotfl:.
I feel that, on the grocery items, the APG/TBG will have some of the items that I have found (whether all along in my 'own' stores or now discovered/re-discovered them still in M elsewhere) but is unlikely to have all of them - indeed I know for a fact that the APG does not have at least one item that I have found M to sell:( - simply because I have checked more stores than they do. I think the APG collectors should not stop at 6 stores but instead should continue to do their collection on Wednesday and continue checking in further Ms until they find one that has nothing extra to what they already had:rotfl:.
The TBG did not have the American BBQ Wedges (and may or may not still have that situation, depending on where they have checked). I can understand that situation, as the first three stores I checked yesterday, none of them had this product:(. (I frown as I felt I was spending far too much time having to look for the TBG item in each subsequent store until I found it, rather than looking just for additional items that I didn't already have last week.) So, it is certainly possible that TBG collectors could check in 3 stores and not find this product in any of them. Wish I'd gone to the fourth store first - it would have been a lot simpler:rotfl:. I saw the Carte d'Ors had more than doubled in price in M:mad: in my first store and, tbh, rather lost heart in looking for my previous Tvs M after that.
The APG and the TBG will extremely likely have different items as the laws of chance are that they will check different stores from each other. They are unlikely to have checked even a same one within their 3 or 6, just as, even with my 35 stores, I'm still unlikely to have found a price collection store of either APG or TBG. I'm suspecting that Coalville, Leics. might be an APG collection store however. Typical if they've chosen one - not actively but just happened to - that doesn't have any of the good Christmas items:rotfl:. Hopefully, they'd pick up something elsewhere - but, probably, nowhere near as much as what I now have. That said, most - if not all - of these items have long disappeared off a.com (presumably because they are much better price, in A stores where they can be found, than what they ever were when they were online before) so, because they are no longer online, won't appear and compare anyway.
As it's extremely likely that the APG and TBG are in different stores from each other, they will have different items and therefore some will work on the APG but not the TBG (and vice versa). I feel that more will work on the APG, because they collect from more stores than TBG which, I understand, checks only 3 stores and, it now seems to me, will be woefully lacking on some items because the number is so small.0 -

NannyLala, I imagine Boots in Oxford Street on sale day is a true test of courage! I'm quailing at the very thought, you are definitely braver than me!
I hope they don't cancel your appointment though, health is more important. x“All shall be well, and all shall be well and all manner of thing shall be well.”0 -

ooooh pj sets? are they the adult ones they did in the milk cartons last year?
They are adult ones but they aren't the same brand as the last few years. The ones in store at the mo are by 'so snug' before that they were 'jimmi jamm's'
I've a few pairs from the last couple of years as they are a great leg length on me. I'm hoping this years ones are as well. Gotta be on the long side to fit these limbs inLife is not about learning to avoid the storms - it's about learning to dance in the rain.0 -

Nice box :T
I'm always so tempted by these but so far I've managed to resist temptation. Not sure if my will power is gonna hold out if that's what they are sending out at the mo :eek:Life is not about learning to avoid the storms - it's about learning to dance in the rain.0 -

Not that it matters at all and is completely irrelevant:rotfl:, but I managed 11 stores yesterday which is some 'achievement'. I originally had 12 on my itinerary - however one of the "stores" turned out to be a petrol station and the small shop attached to it:(. I soon gave that one a miss. Not to worry, as I had to go past it anyway on my route to the next one, which was only a couple of miles away - so no diversion to go to the petrol station:( as it was on the direct route. I can now understand why the shop has the opening hours that it does:doh: and why there isn't a store there as the big store is only a couple of miles away. Had I spent some time at the place that turned out just to be the petrol station, I couldn't have got to the last real store of the day on my list. But, boo ya, everything completed within the day!:D
