Yes, I was definitely out of practice. I nearly gave away all of my stash of ladies products when we had our new bathroom last summer. Glad I didn't!

I gained sooo much weight with the steroids, good antisickness tablets and feeling like I deserved cake :o 3 stone gone slowly over the last 3 years. I feel that I just need the final push to get back to where I was before I had the children now :)

Mum and bro got to hospital and appointment had been cancelled :(
Second time bro lost money due to NHS cancelling appointments and him having time off work.
They have booked her in Christies again next Monday but she doesn't know time they are sending her a letter.
Don't know what NHS is playing at .

  • Sis and baby are fine :) baby weighs 7lb and 13oz. I bet my sis by 1lb and 1oz lol
Somehow ended up in a bickering argument in frugal group on facebook. No idea how tbh. It was about hoovering frequency and others had said 'get a life' to some and I just said I hadn't seen those posts etc. Found it quite upsetting tbh. Almost left the group.
I have dyslexia, so get used to my spelling and grammar :)

  • Thank you. And well done on the weight loss, thats fab. :T
I also had one of those pizzas today. I'm supposed to be low carbing but had a big food binge after my accident as was so fed up. :o

Thanks Enterprise. I really hope I can look back and laugh as well. I was going to go to that store if boots 70% was on this week, not sure if I can show my face there now. :o

Aw, don't worry, Ladyshopper. The store staff will have been glad to help, because everyone likes to be of help to somebody don't they? And I'm sure they understand. They must see all kinds of things in the course of their work. As for anyone else in the vicinity, it's 50/50 whether they noticed or not, and even for those that may have, lots of other things would have happened in their day after that, so they've probably long forgotten about it by now.

Like everyone else on here, I think you're very brave with everything you've had to cope with. You should be congratulating yourself for getting out and about. xx

    Evening all :)

Logie, I'm stealing your post as you have said what I wanted to regarding others ;)
Hope you are keeping well :)

Mmm, just had some Chicago Town pizza for tea. It was a weigh day treat after losing half a stone this week :j. Only had a quarter as didn't want to undo all of the good work but think you need a little of what you fancy in moderation ;)

I was very tempted to give the new sparkling wine mystery box a try. Had 2 in my basket and got all the way to payment page before I was good and shut the page down. Better off with spirits and diet mixers for the diet anyway :)

Sorry some of you have had a rubbish day.

Hoping things are better soon Ladyshopper. It's early days and I'm sure that today will soon become a benchmark to remind you how far you've come. You seem to have taken some massive changes in your stride. You're bound to have the odd wobble x

Tweets, sorry that you've been worrying for nothing. Must be frustrating for your Mum and brother but a bit naughty of her to keep you on tenterhooks x

Hope DS feels more comfortable soon cheerleader. I used to live with a girl whose knees used to pop out regularly. Very painful x

Congrats on the birth of your niece miss_c :j

  • Just realised, if Boots is this Wednesday then I shall strangle my OH. Every year he has somehow managed to arrange a job where he needs me to coincide with the 70% Boots

So often he manages to arrange work including me at the wrong time
