What accomodation would you recommend near the Odyssey Arena?

Could someone please recommend some where to stay near the Odyssey Arena and for shopping? I am hoping to make the reservation today.

    The Hilton is within walking distance of both.

    The Radisson in the Gasworks is excellent too. Not too dear either!

    ... but not that close to the Odyssey.

    If you're going to have to get a taxi from the odyssey, then there are lots of hotels around the city, that are close to the city centre.

    Hi just saw your thread. Raddisons is lovely as we have stayed there, and really enjoyed it. The price is good too. Then there is the Hilton(never been) but it might be dearer. There is also Malmaison in Victoria street(stayed there) lovely place too. Hope you get sorted all the best:)
