Breach of contract?

Hi
I have been with my employer for 3 and a half years, I've had a permanent contract with them for over 2 years. In this contract it states that my rate of pay is £16,500 rising to £18,000 within the year, subject to training.
I have yet to be given the opportunity for training with various excuses given. Firstly my coworker fell pregnant so I had to take on more work to cover the things she couldn't do. They then took employed someone else to help me but still given no training. Last August they employed someone above me, who has no experience in the job (after they asked me if I wanted the job).
I was informed after he started they we would both be sent on a training course to further our knowledge to help with the in-house training (it is the in-house training I require for the pay rise). Passed the training course with no problems and have since had about 1hr training towards my payrise, my colleague has had a whole day of training which I find unfair.
I have found out today he is going to receive full training next week while I'm still waiting.
Are they in breach of contract? Or do I have to prove they have had the time to train someone else but not me before they are in breach of contract?
Any advice would be appreciated

What is the actual clause in the contract? word for word.
AND
What have you mentioned in your yearly appraisals regarding the training?0 -
From what I can remember my contract states:
The rate of pay will be £16,500 rising to £18,000 within the year, subject to training.
I've had 2 appraisals since getting my contract. In my first one manager laid out all the training I would need to do in order to get my payrise. In my second one he admitted that my training had been put on hold because of my coworker falling pregnant but that since the new guy started it would free up my time more to get the training.
I've spoke to him twice this week about as I found out over Christmas he is leaving and was worried what would happen. I just keep getting fobbed off saying I will still get my training and that he needs to speak to a MD to sort my payrise.0 -

the contract says you will get a pay rise after training, it does not give a timetable for that training, so you will get the pay rise when they decide to give you the training.
