Nothing, except keep paying your DMP.
What you have received is a computer generated letter, they are oblighed to send you under the consumer credit act because you are not making contracted payments.
It does not take account of your DMP.

Someone else will be along in a bit to help you even better with this, Sourcrates is pretty good!
I was always of the impression that they were not allowed to phone you at work and cause you upset and distress - I am sure that there is some kind of 'rule' with the Ombudsman about this that they all have to abide by! If they are phoning you on your mobile phone then can you either block the number from your phone or put the number in your phone which shows up Do Not Answer Halifax and have it switched to silent?
Don't worry about the Default letter thats standard - so whatever you do don't panic. You are on a DMP and making prescribed payments. Others will be along in a bit it's just I was on the board and read this so thought I would give you a quickie reply to take the 'sting' out of it a bit for youCat, Dogs and the Horses are our fag and beer money:beer:

As rainy days said, if the Hellifax are hassling you on the phone, write to them and tell them to stop, tell them you concider it harassment, and if they must contact you, to do so in writing only.
And if they persist in ignoring your wishes, say you will report them to there regulator, the FSA.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Debt free wannabe, Credit file and ratings, and Bankruptcy and living with it boards. I found some creditors used to call me because they hadn't got details of my DMP.
When I actually spoke to them, they were OK once Stepchange had notified them again of the DMP. Occasionally account numbers get missed off paperwork and stuff, so it's worth re-iterating details of the plan you are on. But tell them once and for all if they contact you at work you will make a complaint to Ombudsmen.
Regards the default letter, as others have said, it's a requirement of debtors legislation that they send it, it you are in a plan already, file it.Debt -it's a fight that I'm winning, dealing with debt one day at a time.
