BR and letting agent

I am 2 months away from the end of the 6 year bankruptcy term but was given a notice to quit from the landlord. Have viewed a property to let but the letting agent application form asks about previous or current bankruptcy, CCJ's etc, Would this affect the application, should I give the expiry date of the BR (29 March) ?

What is the actual wording of the question?BSCno.87The only stupid question is an unasked oneLoving life as a Kernow Hippy0

are you aware of any CCJ/CD/IVA/Bankruptcy orders, current or pending ?0

Well it's not current as you are discharged and it's not pending as you have been BR and are now discharged. So the answer is no.BSCno.87The only stupid question is an unasked oneLoving life as a Kernow Hippy0

Hmm if they are going to credit check you it might be as well to mention it separately with the letting agent. You are in a difficult spot because you are under a time pressure.
I had to move properties when nowhere near it dropping of my credit file. I was honest with the letting agent and they recommended 3 months rent up front which the landlord agreed to.

tigerfeet is right. You are answering the question correctly if you say no. If you have good references from your current landlord (worth more than any credit check to most LL's) and sufficient income to make the rent payments then I wouldn't worry too much.0
