Well I've been informed that there's a Lidl a bus ride and 10min walk away which I never knew about. So tomorrow I will take a look, thanks to my bus pass. I will take a look around and pick up some onions that are currently on offer which will store well, I hope.

I'm addicted to Olives :D My favourite are the Black Kalamata ones. Tesco also do a crusty loaf with Kalamata olives, it's to die for :)

I too enjoy olives ,preferably with some nice crusty bread and french unsalted butter and a hunk of cheese washed down with some nice wine , sadly I am dieting so they are off the menu, but the apples pears and pinch look good :):):)

Replace the butter with the Eridanous cheese cube or two and you won't be disappointed.

PN, you never fail to surprise be! Be reckless, buy a jar of each and feel your tastebuds explode. Plus some cocktail sticks for the olives ;)

I went to Lidl and got 4 kilos of onions because they do store well and 2 very very large peppers. My next visit will be to get these next lot of goodies.
