redemption figure

hello good to be on the site ,
i am re-mortgaging and when starting process asked to borrow £54545 , redemption figure when requested is £53933 i called my current lender this morning and asked what current redemption is as from now and it £53442
will the lender i am switching too adjust the payment to suit as it will have changed monthly payments as now lower figure or what will happen to the difference
sorry if this is confusing but its the first time in 12 years i have decided to switch and am going to be saving £80 per month doing so
thanks in advance and sorry if this has been asked before
