I don't own a computer, so YNAB isn't really right for me I don't think, but can anyone recommend any apps they use to keep an eye on debt figures/budgeting?

Hi
It’s not an app but if you have access to a mobile device with the internet you could try using the budget tool on the National Debtline website. You can save your figures and come back later to edit them.

If I had to choose between an iPhone or Android app and a pen and paper...
... I'd choose the pen and paper. All the money tracking phone apps I've tried are OK at keeping something already set up up to date, but are absolutely horrible to set up and use in full.0
