Quidco

Does anyone have any experience with Quidco? I bought pet insurance through Quidco with tesco in sept 15 and still haven't received my cash back, it just says its at retailer decision. Every time I log in it's been pushed back another month! Is this how they get out of never paying anything??

I use to use nectar eshops but switched to quidco as the cash worked out a lot better than the nectar points was worth but my last 7 transactions ive had to claim for, and 2 before that was declined, im sick of having to put in claims that take months on end, im going to just stick to using eshops or try topcashback instead

They used to pay out OK, but I had 2 transactions in the middle of last year do this. I left bad feedback for both and within about 24 hrs they credited the money to my account! Wish TopCashBack would follow their lead! I don't often use Quidco because their rates are so poor.

I have been using Quidco for about 7 years now and have been paid over £3k by them during that time.

Yes, sometimes there are problems but 95% of cashback tracks and is paid without any issues.

I have always found them helpful.

No affiliation other than a happy Quidco user.

  • I signed up to Quidco a couple of days ago. I noticed that when bank details are requested the information on a site with Quidco address which begins with http. It is widely expressed that we should check the address to see if it begins with https before entering bank details. Information is encrypted when the site address has https. Have you had any security problems?

I can't say for the sign-up pages as I signed up several years ago, however if I go to the site now and look at any of my "Settings" pages, they all seem to be https pages.

OP perhaps you could open a support ticket and see if the Quidco team can help, given the date keeps changing.

The page for Tesco Bank Pet Insurance does say payment estimated less than 6 months so it is still in the time frame expected.

There are also a T&Cs which may be relevant:

Once your policy has been live for 90 days and provided that all payments due have been received in full, you will receive confirmation that you have qualified for cashback and this will be paid into your Quidco account within two months of confirmation.

If my last 7 transactions didn't track i'd be inclined to think the problem was my end honestly and investigate accordingly :)

I'm fed up with them not paying tbh, the transactions appear but I have some dating back from August time and I believe when I tried to chase it up they wanted the receipt details...as if I would have a receipt from August?

Disgraceful really but I'm not surprised most the ones that aren't paying are PC world tbf but as a business they always have shady deals on. Last thing I purchased was priced at £39.99, got to the till and they said no it's £49.99 which I questioned turned out the small print under the £39.99 said you have to claim £10 back between 30-60 days so basically hoping you'll go home and forget or lose the receipt!

There's a Quidco thread which the representative is quite good at responding on.

I lie, I logged in today and they all went through on 22nd of December so I have £10 cash back sitting there.

They were purchased in August but hey at least they have come through. :D
