Pay off debt or save?

I am *expecting* a big windfall in the Lotto rollover, if I win £50million should I pay off my credit card which is on 0 per cent until the end of the year or stick it in an easy access savings account until then?

:wink::wink:

  • You should perhaps consider a help to buy ISA and then re-invest the rest of your winnings in £1 scratch cards? That'd be the most sensible option.

  • My expected windfall has now been delayed until Saturday (I won a free lucky dip as I had two numbers), which is good as it gives me time to decide what to do with the money!
