New Look - £1 Shoes

Options
I visited my local New Look store in Workington and they two huge boxes of shoes reduced to £1! Normally it can be difficult to get size 9 shoes but there were a few pair available. One pair were especially nice reduced from £19.99!

Thanks, i'll have a look in my local one. It is a nightmare getting size 9's and most of new looks size 9's still don't fit as their sizes vary so much. And don't get me started on places who think a 42 is a 9 :rotfl:

My daughter likes New Look shoes, she's a 7 though but their stuff seems to fit her better than other shops.
Re size 9's have you tried shoezone, not the best for quality but that's reflected in the price and they do free delivery.

I have some boots from shoezone which fit in length but are really wide. Unfortunately they're a bit hit and miss with their sizes too! I haven't looked recently so i'll have a look after new look tomorrow, thanks

New Look shoes look very pretty, but they are not good quality shoes (I'm not suggesting that overpriced designer shoes are either). By all means buy them if you do not wish to look after your feet.

I find them to be generally good shoes, my problem is that they don't tend to last long. I have size 9 extra wide feet so it can be very difficult to get shoes, I bought a pair of boots reduced from £40 to £10 and they're so comfortable

i used to work for new look during uni which was granted 6 years ago. and i STILL have a pair of boots from those days (50% discount i miss you...) but over the last couple of years their quality has rapidly declined which is sad because i do love their bits. but bought a pair of boots last year and they were ruined in a couple of months.

  • Phoned the Stamford store this morning to ask if they had any shoes at £1 before trekking off down there, they said no, just half price stuff.

You have my sympathy, it's not easy finding large sizes. I'm a size 8 and well aware that most ranges end there. I tend to stick to M&S, Clarks and BHS as they are comfortable fits.

Have you tried Evans? I have bought boots from them before on sale, they are excellent and have lasted years with a lot of use. 7s and 8s were a minority compared to the number of 9s, 10s and extra-wide shoes.

I was in Dereham (Norfolk) today and had forgotten about this thread until the lure of the shoes called me! Got a lovely pair of navy and white espadrilles that tie round the ankle, size 7, £1. Well chuffed. They also had a lot of size 8 and 9 ' s in normal and wide fitting.
