Hello,

My partner & I will be going to see a mortgage advisor soon, we are first time buyers. I have an overdraft facility of £600 I get paid weekly and am in my overdraft most of the time, I do not use the full £600 I generally use up to £300 which is free. Do you think this will affect our chances of getting a mortgage?

Thank you.

Comments

  • I got offered a 95% mortgage with both my partner and I are in our far larger overdrafts constantly. So don't worry!
  • Thank you, I'm probably worrying over nothing, I will know more once I have spoken to a mortgage advisor I'm at the moment.
