Sports Development Careers

Hi,

I dropped out of uni at 18. I have been temping for 2 years now (I have not long turned 21) and I do not have a clue what I want from life. My temp job wont offer me a permanent role even though I have been here for 18 months! So I may as well move on and do something for myself and something I am happy in.

I take a keen interest in sport and would like to work in sports development of some kind. I love football and if I could help develop sport either with a club or with the public, that would be fab.

I have no idea how to go about it and where to look? Should I temp somewhere which will give me an insight into this? If so, where can I find such roles?

I can't give any specific advice, sorry - but I've been using https://www.learndirect.co.uk to research careers and there is a free service where you can call a Learn Direct Adviser and they will go through career options with you. There are also many career websites available online, plus there could be books in your local library that may help!
