Enniskillen info

Starting a new job in Enniskillen tomorrow. I don't know the town well - travelling from Omagh.

So where's good for lunches? What are your fav charity shops?

I'll be working with 16 to 18 year olds mainly. Where do the kids hang out? Which are good, which are dodgy?

Best of luck with the new job and I'm sure you'll love Enniskillen. The hospice shop near the Butter-market car park is really good, stock seems to change very quickly. The buttermarket is lovely for lunch and the buffet in Kamal Mahals is really good.
Young people seem to get great support from the dropin centre called fuel or Life, it's PHA funded and has lovely staff

Congratulations! Enniskillen is a lovely town with a very diverse population. Yes FUEL as mentioned is where a llot of young people hang out and do call into visit Bernie and her amazing staff. You need to be careful eating out as costs can be and are very high - I had a friend staying from London recently who could not believe how much a simple lunch costs in the Town Centre - on a par with the Barbican she said. 'Jolly Sandwich' is lovely but costs can mount up. Dollakis is good too if you like Greek food but my favourite is Cafe Merlot (under Blakes) which does a really nice soup and sandwich quite reasonably. If you want simple hearty food then the Aisling Centre Cafe Darling Street is really good and excellent value. Pop in to the main Centre too and ask Bridie to show you round - great facility for counselling.
