Hi

I can't really find where to put this thread, but I have a fancy dress party to attend in May. It's got to be movie related so either a film star or a character from a film.

I'm really stuck though. I don't want to spend much as money is an issue.

I have a lot of 1940's and 60's dresses so wondered if I can incorporate these into a costume, but make it a bit more obvious who I'm meant to be (if I can think of anyone).

Has anyone got any good ideas?

    Have a look on here for ideas. You don't have to buy one but you maybe able to adjust the clothes you've got.

    Wear one of your 1940's dresses, get your hair set appropriately, wear a Cameilia pinned to your dress and go as Bette Davis in Now, Voyager?
