Remortgaging With The Same Provider

                    I am struggling to get an answer to what is hopefully a fairly straightforward question - even from the company concerned. Can anybody help?
I am coming to the end of my discount period on a mortgage with Birmingham Midshires. I have researched the market and am very likely to take another BM product.
Can I assume that some of the standard charges associated with remortgaging fall away in these circumstances? I would hope that fees for valuation, land registry and legals would be not applicable - leaving just the product/arrangement fee.
Would be grateful for any advice or previous experience.

            That is correct - the product fee is normally the only one that is applicable if staying with your current lender
You are not re-mortgaging with your current lender, simply looking at a product switch.
