The support from Britain's businesses to stay in the EU is waning

Interesting survey of major UK CFOs on Brexit. A rising tide of uncertainty rather than significant opposition to remaining in the EU. The full survey also suggests a more risk-averse approach to corporate expansion.

Few people are capable of expressing with equanimity opinions which differ from the prejudices of their social environment. Most people are incapable of forming such opinions.

It's still an overwhelming majority in favour of remaining versus those who favour leaving.

    Just 6% favour leaving....

Agreed, all you can say is that CFOs of major firms are less certain than previously, but if this 12% drop is a trend then it is a concern. Variations like this in a public poll might be unimportant but this appears to be a very specific yet influential group who might be expected to have a firm view.

When the aruguement said play out, people will be more likely to vote to stay, there will be no brexit.

There might however be a good buying opportunity a few months before.
Proudly voted remain. A global union of countries is the only way to commit global capital to the rule of law.

Pretty much all of the polls are moving this way currently. Believe there was an article last week stating that for the first time, the "out" vote has overtaken the stay in vote.

The direction of travel, for now, is pretty clear.

And you only need to look at the EU at the moment to see why. Border controls back in force etc. Munich terror threat on NYE linked to people who travelled in from Syria. Brussels is currently undergoing all manner of crimes committed many times by "migrants". (Public christmas trees set on fire, cars pushed down escalators into the tube station while shouting out a religious name etc). France terrorism linked again to the "hug a migrant" campaign from Merkel.

The migrant crisis is out of control and we in the UK are very lucky to be separated by water.. You just won't see this stuff printed in the main media outlets.
