When I put the competition in the relevant post I clicked through to the thread for the comp, copied the title, added the answer, then clicked on the link in the post and added that to the text.

I can see that you are adding multiple levels of BBCode formatting in some of those posts.

i.e. when I quote one to have a look I see



Lots of level of surplus bold [ B] tags where if you want the whole post to be bold you just need an opening one at the start and closing one at the end of the post.

If when editing you select all the text in a post

CTRL + A

then click the button that is labelled "Remove Text formatting" then should get rid of a lot of it.

Then reapply what formatting you do want.

Fermi, you're a star, that's the fix I needed. thank you! i thought 'remove formatting' would remove everything ...

hopefully i'll be able to see what i'm doing now Although there's still 'left' and 'centre' tags that aren't needed ...

I had the same problem (Chrome + uBlock Origin) but I got it fixed by using this extension: User-Agent Switcher for Chrome. I used the iPad profile to get the "Enter Competition" buttons to reappear.
