    If you have enough space in the freezer I would freeze to preserve the freshness and then use as and when.

    Today got off to a great start with the addition of pumpkin seeds and raisins to our porridge: it was yummy and we'll definitely do it again. I'm really looking forward to the weekend for more experimenting.

    And I never thought of freezing the seeds - I've no idea why not! Looks like we'll get through the seed mountain without too many problems :T

    Thanks for the porridge recipes Nuatha. I've been adding chia and coconut to my porridge recently, and it's delicious :) Still using oats and rice milk, as well as sesame, pumpkin, sunflower and linseed (and either dried or fresh fruit), so hopefully the variety will mean that the nutritional value is increased!
