Can't seem to switch

I've tried a couple of times online to switch to different suppliers and the switch simply seems to 'disappear' and I'm left with my existing provider.
Any idea how I can chase up to see what is happening?
NB: Account is not in debt (other than nominal value mid cycle)

Have you ever asked the new supplier why they didn't take over your supplies.
When you process online, assuming you get a confirmation email/letter just call and use the order reference they provide.
Until then it's hard to say.....could be anything down to a discrepancy on national database of meters which makes no difference day to day until wanting to switch.0
