Hi, my partner has decided he wants to get a grip on his messy finances this year. I am trying to be supportive but I know I have to let him do it his way (he's not keen on outside help etc). I was wondering if anyone knows of any paper budgeting sheets or systems I could download and print for him to keep in the folder we've bought for him to file his bills in. Free or cheap and if there's a few any recommendations? Thanks.

Buy a diary.
Write everything in it. When bills are due. When income is due...etc.
Write everything you spend every day in it.
Such as mine today - Monday 4th Jan - Spent £1 Boots - O2 Meal Deal, £1 Domino's O2 Meal Deal.
At the end of the month look at what was spent and adjust next month's budget accordingly.:footie:Regular savers earn 6% interest (HSBC, First Direct, M&S)
Loans cost 2.9% per year (Nationwide) = FREE money.

Hi
If he completes the budget planner on the National Debtline website he can save the figures and edit them in future if he needs to, which might be useful. He can also print the budget off.
