Here is my update.

We took the theatre break this past weekend and had a great time. We stayed in the Grange Hotel, Tower Hill and were lucky enough to be put on the 14th floor. There were spectacular views over London. We could see the Thames and Tower Bridge, the Cheesecutter, the Gherkin, the Shard and much much more. There was a complementary bottle of champagne in both rooms and we are saving ours for a special occasion! The room was beautiful with a marble bathroom. On Sunday we had a full English breakfast.

The restaurant we went to was the Savoy Grill which is a Gordon Ramsay restaurant. We were very pushed for time so only had a main course and we were all too dehydrated to drink wine so we drank gallons of mineral water. The food was excellent but there was a mix up with the bill and we ended up having to pay. (more about this in a minute).

The show the Jersey Boys was fantastic although we had a terrible rush to get there in time from the restaurant. We all want to see it again and the songs are going around in our heads.

On Monday I was going to send an email to the competition organiser about having to pay our restaurant bill but there was already an email from her saying that she was aware that there was an issue and the bill would be paid in full and as an added gesture of goodwill she is going to send us £50 in theatre tokens! Its like winning another competition.

Therefore all in all a wonderful time.
