Is there a decent budgeting app?

Hi, I am struggling to find a money app / program I can access on mobile or tablet, and wondered if anyone knew of one please?

Basically, as a family we are living on a very tight budget and I have to plan carefully to avoid getting into debt. I used to use a money manager pc program (I think it was Microsoft) and got on well with that but think it was discontinued. I then switched to using an Excel spreadsheet but the laptop has broken and don't get on with using the mobile excel app.

I want a program I can input recurrent bills and income, and that will give me a projected forecast (which most don't do, they only seem to track spending as it happens). I need the projected forecast so I can plan for the future and stay out of my overdraft! The only thing I've found that comes close is a u.s program called sweep but I can't seem to access it from the UK. I have an iPhone 5s if that's of any relevance.

Really grateful for any help. I'm lost and stressed without my 2016 budget in place!

MS Money does still work but there is no mobile app for it. A lor of people here used to like YNAB but I think they have a new pricing scheme now that people don't like. Another one with a mobile app is BankTree.

YNAB started new pricing because they now have aggregator service to fetch balances/transactions now from banks. It also seems it's mostly oriented to US only but does support GBP currency, can't find some of the bigger UK banks from the list.

It is however now web based and pricing is still decent of course nothing beats free.

I use money manager which has recurring transactions on your accounts and also shares your accounts between desktop, ios and android. It syncs between your devices.

There are so many of these threads I get bored.

I use Pocket Money - available on Windows, Mac, iOS and Android. The main app for me is the desktop app and I sync my Android phone with it. I've tried many such apps and this is the best. http://www.catamount.com/catamountApps.php
