Hi... I just wanted to post here about a useful little thing I picked up recently
I ran out of brillo pads (metal scourers) and I had to clean my riding boots as they were caked in mud.... I grabbed a length of tin foil and scrunched it up... taadaaaa! I now have my very own temporary brillo pad/scourer.... works just as well as the normal type, and can be thrown away afterwards (who wants a 2nd hand scourer with mud on? )
Just thought I'd share this pearl with you guys... hope it helps

You can also save the mesh bags that onions and the like come in. Knot them together in a real tangle and you have a scrubby thing that you can chuck out with a clear conscience after doing some really filthy job. Good on the compost bin, BBQ etc.0
