Rental income tax

Hi, will the new tax on rental income affect me, currently earn around 28k per annum and recieve 4800 per annum in rent on a buy to let, will the new tax changes for mortgage interest allowance affect me as a basic 20% tax payer. Thanks

    I take it you cannot read since it very clearly affects only those on higher or additional rate income tax?

    Booksurr has answered this question many times previously so I'm not surprised their patience is wearing a little thin.

    More to the point, if the OP could not read, why would they be able to understand booksurr's post?

    The changes might affect the OP as they are a reduction in tax; so might affect child benefit and other benefits if the OP has a partner.

    if OP's partner's total taxable income is >£50K it would indeed affect them ONLY
