Hi there,
I am looking to change my job. For the last 15 years I have worked in a school kitchen and now my boys have left school I want to move on. I have had a little success in job hunting recently - supervised a cleaning contract for 6 months last year and have just finished 5 months as a christmas temp in a well known store alongside the school job. I now know that I am really suited to customer service and would like to persue a career in it. Anyone out there got any links to training I can do while I do my council job and look for a new position. Have good GCSE,s etc and loads of skills from pre-kid working but I need to be able to show up to date office skills and qualifications and I need them quickly. Time is of the essence, I need to get out of a dead end job soon.Thank you

Have you thought about doing your ECDL?0 -
Have you tried looking at the websites of your local colleges?0

Most of the courses at my local technical college don't start until September and I want to be re-employed by then.
Any other providers I could try please0 -
Customer service recruitment looks far more at experience and aptitude than qualifications. Have you looked at what roles are available in your area, for instance are there any call centres?0
