Asda - Different prices online and instore

Just been to click and collect from Asda. Checking the receipt and I can see some differences.

Galaxy Minstrels - Product Code: 4598105 - Online £1, charged £2 click and collect.

Go Ahead Crispy Slices Blueberry - Product Code: 4631957 - Online £1, charged £1.65 click and collect

Goodfella's Stonebaked Thin Pepperoni Pizza - Product Code: 3145393 - Online £1, charged £1.25 click and collect

and so on. I wonder how many people do not check receipts after collecting their orders?

I contacted Asda and they said the price difference would only be at the store I visited. But, if it isn't Asda could be potentially make thousands of pounds profits by not updating their prices correctly.

When did you place the order? You may of ordered at an offer price but you pay the price on the day of delivery or collection and not the price when ordering.

  • I placed the order yesterday at 5pm, the products are still the same price on the website as they where yesterday, nothing has changed but the in-store price which is used to generate the click and collect receipt.

It seems Asda sell the same product at two different prices

Sounds like offers have ended, with Asda you pa the price when they are picked, the web price is just a guide. I've just removed some items from my delivery tomorrow because offers have expired.

I wouldn't use click and collect. They just rob you!
I used the service regular when heavily pregnant and last September they took £11 more from my credit card than the cost on my invoice showed!

I just had the same problem
Got order delivered on Sunday and receipt was £7 more than expected. I had already checked my ordered items online and prices where same - I did use the Click and collection option for delivery store - complained to store and still waiting for someone to call me back
Went to do my Price Guarantee today and they have matched the prices to the lower prices and not what I was charged.
Had an online Chat with ASDA earlier - got my £7 refunded and a £10 voucher onto my account

I am sure what they are doing is not correct.
