Sorry to hear of your situation.

Probably not of much use but i used Campbell & Haughey, William Street, Lurgan who were very good for my divorce, however than was 10+ years ago.

You are right in that you need someone who will ensure you get a fair deal in the separation, rather than just roll over.

I am sure you know already but the court system does not "punish" one party or another for behaviours, so dont expect anything "extra" for being the aggreived party.

Your first main step is a separation agreement. If your going ahead with the divorce thats your first big aim - to get that agreed and signed.

Sorry if thats all probably not much use - i read your post when you originally put it on, but thought someone else might come back with more current / relevant info. Didnt want you to think noone was bothered.

Hope it all works out for the best.

Mate of mines ex-wife used a solicitor by the name of karen fox, he reckoned she was an absolute rottweiler of a solicitor and he wished he'd got to her first :)

Never understood this attitude when it comes to divorce solicitors. Same used to be said about Hilary Carmichael.

The most expensive divorce is an acrimonious one. Good marketing on the part of some practices has given rise to this notion that an "aggressive" divorce will yield better results for one party.

It was an acrimonious split, he would have been quite happy to sort things out amicably, sign the paperwork and move on, his ex wife (despite being the one having the affairs) went nuclear at the start.
When my wife got divorced, it was amicable, less stressful and a lot cheaper.
