I am waiting for a state pension forecast as not sure about my contributions. I only have about 4 years contributions before my current job which has lasted 24 years. So that gives me 28 years but I believe I get some credited for when I was a stay at home mom? Also I was contracted out for 18 of those years so I believe that will have an effect on my pension. It is all so confusing.
I have made a list of shops who have local vacancies on their websites and will send off applications to them. I will also go round shops as I know several have notices in their windows for part time staff.
I am getting quite excited at the thought of a new challenge but also quite nervous as well. Wish me luck.Sealed Pot Challenge No. 0180
