Can't switch off the freezer

Then look if unit comes with fitted knob or pull off ? the above example is pull off then simply buy new knob

There will be an isolator somewhere most likely underneath remove kick board etc or if your unlucky behind it ?

OP says it's a Hoover. I used to get that all the time when I worked for Hotpoint, or was it Hoover I worked for? It was a while ago.

Hoover, hotpot, ballcock whatever etc They supply spare’s no matter what the make and vast majority are identical when it comes to switches, knobs, controllers etc as none manufacture there own all get in from third parties method is no different whatever the brand if your looking just to score points rather than assist poster then that’s a different matter well done you’ve scored one :rotfl:
