Wonga - Cleared my balance...can I ask for them to remove the Default?

I am hoping someone can help me.
That great lending service called Wonga, admitted it shouldn't have lent to me and so cleared the balance of my outstanding loan. This was some months ago.
I have just looked at my credit score and there is a default on the Wonga loan. Would it be too much to ask them to remove it? If so do I ask Wonga or Experian to sort it for me?

As part of there complaint resolution they should of removed any negative information from your credit file.
If they have failed to do this, you should contact them ASAP to find out why.
You can take them to the FOS if they drag there feet with it, best to speak to them as soon as possible first though !!I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Debt free wannabe, Credit file and ratings, and Bankruptcy and living with it boards.
