It sounds to me like an investigation which could lead to a disciplinary hearing. Make it very clear on the form that you informed the manager at the first available opportunity that you were going to be late and followed all correct procedures. If you followed the correct procedures you should be fine.
If it DOES proceed to a disciplinary hearing, you do have the right to be accompanied. Keep us informed........Ex board guide. Signature now changed (if you know, you know).0 -
