    For a bonus point, what reason did the factory give for its inability to import the inputs to make the world renowned sugared water?

    If they tried paying in their own currency, I expect any supplier would tell them where to go.

    That's pretty close. The factory claimed that they weren't able to get hard currency to pay for ingredients.
