Hi all, was disappointed this year with the lack of affordable scandi type decs.
You all know the sort, red gingham, white hearts, wooden wotsits straw thingummies.
May leave the red gingham as ribbon to drape in place of beads/tinsel.
Can anyone give me tips on what to make, where to find inspiration etc.
Thanks all.

You could always tie gingham ribbon to the tops of red or white baubles to add extra colour without much effort.Great opportunities to help others seldom come, but small ones surround us every day. -- Sally Koch0

I'm also making robing decs for next year - using round images from card and wrapping paper - cut about drinking glass size and then mod podging or glueing to card from red large gift bags. Then will put hole in top and thread with cheap red cord from ebay.
You could do this with any cheap red/white Xmas cards on sale or some good quality gift wrap.Great opportunities to help others seldom come, but small ones surround us every day. -- Sally Koch0 -
There is a fabulous book called Homemade Scandinavian Christmas by Hege Barnholt you could request it from your local library I would expect it should be fairly easy to get hold of at this time of the year.0
