It's time to face this...

Options
Right. Come on Lynxe, lets do this.

I've been in outstanding debt since my late teens, and I turned 29 yesterday. I need to face up to this, so off we go!

My partner and I live together with her 6 year old daughter, who she has full residency of. We also have two entirely insane dogs, a rabbit nicknames Hitler due to the intensity of his killer stares, and 3 fish who seem to survive beyond all odds. I work part time, and my partner has full time hours. It's time, with those incomes, to face up to this.

Trying to track down my debts seems to be posing a considerable problem. Across all three credit checks, I'm missing a number of recently paid debts, which is throwing my whole, well-motivated plan out of kilter as I prefer to know what I'm facing, but as it stands at the moment, I have known debts of £4,381 and an overdraft of £1,500.

Ah, the overdraft. The blasted overdraft. I hate that overdraft, but I love it so much I can't let it go. We had originally planned to have my OH's wages paid into it, and use my wages for bills and such and my OH's for day-to-day living, which should reduce the overdraft gradually over time. The logic behind that is that we can't afford to pay it off, and while it's being charged at £30 a month we may as well use it. I've been back and forth so much with whether that's the right way to go about it or not that I've given up with it. It is what it is.

Tomorrow, the big push starts. Things have to start turning around. I can't take it any more - So let's change it around. :)
