Absolutely nothing to buy ,not even food as I am at my two DDs for just over a week and will be toing and froing between them until the New Year.2017 will definitely be a belt tightening year as I have had a large amount to spend this month on a whopping CH power flush, my DGS's wedding present today and my other dogs 21st birthday last week.So minimilistic spending is the watch word for 2017

so I have a confession! I broke from my year long not buying it challenge for a month in the lead up to Christmas as I did buy myself some new tops in Nov for my birthday and also Christmas gifts
decided I did want to buy the few I get for new things. I didn't go crazy though. I did also go on xmas eve and bought lo some new pjs as hers are old and too small, got them in the sales and also picked up sale packs of vests for next year at £2 a pop
Seemed prudent to get these things new when they were so low cost
So back on it now. Easy to not spend much in Jan I find! Cupboards overflowing (filled up freezer with lots of ys items over the last few weeks) and everyone is reigning it in after the excesses of Christmas

Hi All :-)
Does anybody know if there will be a similar incarnation of this thread for 2017? I have found it SO useful over the last 2 years, just to lurk and occasionally comment, that I would like to continue doing the same this year.
Belated Happy New Year to all,
Alice
