  • Hey guys, can I joint?
Late in the year I know, so rather that 2016 items for 2016 I would like to aim for 114 items, as we have 114 days left for this year.

001 - Stack of DVDs/CDs (Won't bother counting these indevidually as there were 3 spindles worth and it would be cheating)
    002 - Old mop
003 - Dog bed (Sadly my poor pooch passed away last weekend, the bed was stinky so not keeping it for a memento)

Small start, but its a start!

Thank you, she was 11 and went peacefully in her sleep without any illness so I'm thankful for that.
We picked up her ashes yesterday, so she's back home now :)

  • 018 - Vacuum, binned

Just the one item today, but it's a big one. Our vacuum died the other day so had to go. I replaced the fuse and it lasted another 20 mins then cut out again. Time for a new one.

There is a large notebook that I've kept putting back in my cupboard. It has lots of lists and notes in it, some to do with changing my lifestyle, some to do with weight loss. One was written when I was very unhappy with my partner - we split up 14 years ago!

One page just had one line written on it which said

How I decluttered my life -

It's all been shredded, apart from notes about a holiday I took with a friend.

The decluttering of my house began a couple of years ago. And it's fun, and when I find I can throw things like this away I know I have been decluttering my life too, I just haven't documented it. Except now, on here, and I'm sure some of you will know exactly what I mean.
