A housework apron - it works!

I read on a website that a good way to do the housekeeping quickly and efficiently is to carry your cleaning materials with you.

So, yesterday I made an apron with pockets and today carried my cleaning stuff with me. It really works!
I used an apron I have as a pattern and added a big pocket with sections on the bottom of the apron and a pocket on the top part. I made it out of a car boot bought curtain - Laura Ashley in blue and white stripes. I had some white binding which I used to make the strings and neck bit. It took me a couple of hours and I'm very pleased with it!

I had the same idea, so I have an old washing up bowl which I store under the sink and carry around with me for cleaning. It has one of everything in that I use(but if you are more OS than me, you will only need cloths, vinegar and bicarb  ) and it works a treat. Saves me hours of running up and down stairs

That works just as well. I use a 50/50 white vinegar and water spray and value spray polish for the main cleaning. I keep a bucket with bathroom cleaning stuff in the airing cupboard and for the kitchen I keep one under the sink.
For my kitchen floor I use hot water with a dash of value all purpose cleaner and a squirt of bleach. For the toilets I use neat white vinegar. I spray and leave them for 10 minutes or so. I do love value cream cleaner for bath and sinks.0 -

Oh Penny, I had a moment of excitement there as I thought of a cool tool belt with polish. sprays and cloths strapped around a hunky houseworker chap. Clicked on the link and found a plastic carry thing.
Just off for a cool shower. I don't do cold!!!!!:D0 -

Sorry
I'd love to see a pic of your apron :T . I use one, but just have a small notebook and pencil in the front pocket. I don't think I could have all my cleaning materials strapped to my person, which is why I use that basket.
